check ur boot order in bios. make sure your hdd is below your internal
I figured it out. It turned out to be a problem with the cables. The only way it works is with the cable select jumper setting and I didn’t even have the two drives on the same cable.
Anybody know why an internal slave hd would keep windows xp from loading from the master hd? The loading screen shows up, but the screen goes black after that. I tried connecting the slave drive though an external hub and it works that way. If I don’t connect the slave at all, windows loads fine. ?
